1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing this website and/or participating in any classes, private sessions, workshops, or programs offered by The Possible Body, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree, please do not participate in services.

2. Nature of Services

The Possible Body provides movement-based instruction and experiences that may include somatic practices, creative movement, and physical conditioning.

These services are intended for educational and wellness purposes only and do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, physical therapy, or mental health care. Always consult a licensed provider for medical or psychological concerns.

3. Assumption of Risk

You understand that participation in movement-based activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

  • Muscle strain or injury

  • Falls or physical discomfort

  • Emotional or psychological responses

By participating, you knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks, both known and unknown, associated with these activities.

4. Release and Waiver of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted under the laws of the State of Oregon, you agree to release, waive, and discharge The Possible Body, its owner, and any contractors from any and all liability for injuries, damages, or losses arising out of or connected to your participation.

This includes claims based on:

  • Negligence (but not gross negligence or willful misconduct)

  • Personal injury or property damage

5. Participant Responsibilities

You agree that you will:

  • Participate at a level appropriate to your physical and mental condition

  • Inform the instructor of any injuries, conditions, or limitations

  • Stop any activity that causes pain, discomfort, or concern

  • Take full responsibility for your own wellbeing during and after sessions

6. Emotional & Psychological Responsibility

You acknowledge that this work may involve introspection and emotional experiences.

You agree that:

  • You are responsible for your own mental and emotional health

  • You will seek appropriate licensed support if needed

  • The Possible Body is not responsible for emotional outcomes resulting from participation

7. Professional Boundaries

All services are provided within a professional, non-clinical relationship.

  • Communication will occur within agreed-upon channels

  • Services do not extend beyond scheduled sessions unless explicitly agreed

  • This is not a therapeutic or personal dependency-based relationship

8. Payment Terms

  • Payment is required in advance of services unless otherwise agreed in writing

  • All sales are final unless otherwise stated

  • Packages, series, or sessions are non-transferable

9. Cancellation & No-Show Policy

  • A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule

  • Late cancellations and no-shows will be charged in full

  • Exceptions may be made at the sole discretion of The Possible Body

  • If a session is canceled by The Possible Body, a reschedule or refund will be provided

10. Refund Policy

  • No refunds are provided for completed sessions

  • Unused sessions in packages are non-refundable unless required by law

  • In limited circumstances, credits may be issued at the discretion of The Possible Body

11. Confidentiality & Group Conduct

While The Possible Body will make reasonable efforts to maintain a respectful and safe environment:

  • Confidentiality in group settings cannot be guaranteed

  • You agree to respect the privacy of other participants

  • Disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behavior may result in removal without refund

12. Media Release

By participating, you grant permission for the use of photographs or video for marketing purposes. You may opt out in writing prior to participation.

13. Intellectual Property

All content, including but not limited to instructional approach, written materials, and branding, is the intellectual property of The Possible Body. You may not reproduce, record, distribute, or teach this material without prior written consent.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Oregon law, The Possible Body shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from participation in services or use of this website.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Possible Body from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your participation or violation of these terms.

16. Website Use

You agree not to misuse this website or its content, including unauthorized copying or commercial use.

17. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oregon. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Multnomah County, Oregon.

18. Modifications

The Possible Body reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
